Chiel Kleipool has a background as a drawing teacher. In 1986 he chose to become a visual artist. He also worked for many years as a visualiser/illustrator in the advertising world and the business community. Since 2015 he is co-owner off 1000graden and makes more time for his own abstract art, with which he regularly exhibits.
